The home is professionally cleaned with meticulous attention between every stay, with linens that are commercially laundered and pressed to ensure the highest standard of comfort. Essential items such as shampoos, soaps, paper products, and towels are fully restocked, so you can simply arrive and enjoy your time together. Every detail is cared for, creating the ease and luxury of a premier retreat in the heart of Steamboat Springs.

Sky Valley Chateau partners with a concierge ski fitting service – allowing the delivery of rental ski equipment directly to the property. Imagine getting fitted for your boots, skis, or snowboard without leaving the property – with a glass of champagne in hand near the fire – that is the reality of Sky Valley Chateau.

After a long day on the slopes, retire to the 16-person hot tub to relax. Your own private Apres’ ski happens effortlessly in the chef’s kitchen, by the great room’s floor to ceiling moss rock fireplace, or on the outdoor lounge area by the warmth of the fire pit.

Sky Valley Chateau is Steamboat’s only large capacity accommodation that has on-site parking for up to 10 sled and trailer set-ups. Being within a 15 minute drive to the highly acclaimed snowmobile area on Rabbit Ears Pass, boundless snowy terrain awaits your group’s adventurous spirit.

David and Erica had long dreamed of creating a mountain retreat where people could gather, celebrate, and connect—a dream that became Sky Valley Chateau. Residing on the backside of the property with their two dogs, Seve and Palmer, they’re available to assist during your stay while always respecting your privacy. With a deep love and knowledge of Steamboat Springs, they delight in sharing local secrets—David knows the tricks for dodging lift lines, while Erica can point you to the best downtown spots for lunch. Their dedication to hospitality ensures your group experiences both the comforts of a luxury lodge and the warmth of a family-owned retreat.
